Photo Prop Haul: On A Budget

As bloggers we are all out to take some great photos to share across our social media. I have been blogging for a month now, and though my photos are getting better I wanted a little something else to help make them fun! I had a gift card for Amazon burning a hole in my wallet, so I gave myself a challenge to see how many great photo props I could get with just $25!

(This post does contain affiliate links, which just means if you use my links to make a purchase I will make a little profit to keep running my blog, at no cost to you!)

Here are my findings:

Flower Bouquet-

Flowers are always a nice touch in photos, but for me they also serve a second purpose, DIY wedding bouquets. I had bought a few bouquets at a store in town for my upcoming wedding, but they have been finding there way into my photos so I knew I needed an extra one just for props. I found a beautiful white rose bouquet for under $5 very similar to the bouquets I already have.

Letter Board-

This is probably one of the most popular photo props right now, my Instagram feed is full of them. Which of course meant I had to check them out, and I am glad I did! I found this 10 inch by 10 inch wood framed felt letter board for under $15, what a steal! The board even came with 290 white letters, numbers and punctuation pieces. It did take some time to cut out all of the pieces, but for the price this was a great buy.

Fairy Lights-

This was by FAR the best deal! Fairy lights are such a versatile photo prop so I knew I had to add them to my list. I found a great set with 100 LED lights, EIGHT light settings and a remote. They do require four AA batteries that are not included, but these fairy lights are still a steal for just under $5! I never would have guessed for that price I would be able to find 30 feet of lights with multiple light modes.

There you have it, three great photo props for just $25! Even better all three have prime shipping so I got them all in just two days. Look out for my new finds in my future pictures by following me on Instagram and Twitter. If you have found budget friendly photo props I would love to see them!

Until next time – Shelby
